Tropea warmly welcomes Matteo Simoni!
The popular flemish actor plays the main role in the film "Marina". The movie tells the story of Rocco Granata, who emigrated as a little boy with his parents to Belgium, where he became famous with the beautiful song "Marina".
In the original version the film is in flemish and in italian (especially calabrean dialect) and Matteo has done his preparation for the role at our Italian language school in Tropea. He attended several Italian language courses as well as exclusive private lessons for the study of the script and the calabrean dialect during this preparatory period in 2011 and 2012.
On Wednesday, 1st October takes place a short informal welcome meeting with the national and local press and on 2nd of October the film will be presented and shown under the romantic starry sky in the old town of Tropea to the audience of Calabria and to the students of the Piccola Università Italiana.
We look forward to Matteo, to experience again with him the emotions, which accompanied his stay in Tropea.
